After these events, once again, with his excellent^{1cf. Phil 3:8, ὑπερέχω} and lofty teaching, blessed Mashtots began to form many^{22 Cor 1:11, πολύς} disquisitions—explicated simply,^{3cf. Heb 5:11} composed gracefully, and brought about^{4cf. 2 Cor 9:11, κατεργάζομαι} by the illumination and depth^{5Mt 13:5, βάθος} of the prophetic writings and infused with the savor of faith in the truth of the good tidings. In these, he composed numerous similitudes^{6ὁμοίωμα} and examples drawn from this transitory age, particularly concerning the hope of the resurrection for the coming age, constructed^{7cf. Heb 3:4, ατασκευάζω} to be intelligible and accessible to the inexperienced^{8cf. Num 14:23, ἄπειρος} and to those troubled by^{9cf. Lk 10:40, περισπάω} the things of the flesh: to bring them to their senses,^{10cf. 2 Tim 2:26, ἀνανήφω} to rouse^{11cf. 2 Peter 1:13, διεγείρω} them, and to encourage them to be established^{12cf. 1 Peter 5:10, θεμελιόω} in the promise of the good tidings.^{13cf.
