Սուրբ Իրենեոսի

Ցոյցք Առաքելական Քարոզութեան

Զ.

Եւ այս է դաս կարգի հաւատոցն մերոյ եւ հիմն շինածոյն եւ հաստատութիւն գնացից․

 

Աստուած, Հայր, անեղ, անտարր, անտեսանելի, մի Աստուած արարողն ամենայնի. այս նախ առաջին գլուխ հաւատոյս մերոյ։

 

Իսկ երկրորդ գլուխ՝ բանն Աստուծոյ, Որդին Աստուծոյ, Քրիստոս Յիսուս Տէրն մեր, որ մարգարէիցն երեւեցաւ ըստ ձեւոց մարգարէութեանն նոցա եւ ըստ ունակութեան տնաւրէնութեանցն Հաւր, ի ձեռն որոյ եղեւն ամենայն ինչ. որ եւ ի վախճան ժամանակաց ի գլխաւորել եւ բովանդակել զամենայն ինչ, մարդ է մարդկան եղեալ, տեսանելի եւ շաւշափելի, առ ի խափանել զմահ եւ ցուցանել զկեանս, եւ հասարակութիւն միաբանութեան Աստուծոյ եւ մարդոյ գործել։

 

Եւ երրորդ գլուխ՝ Սուրբ Հոգին, ի ձեռն որոց մարգարէքն մարգարէացան եւ հայրքն ուսան զԱստուծոյսն եւ արդարքն առաջնորդեցան ի ճանապարհ արդարութեանն, եւ որ ի վախճան ժամանակաց հեղաւ նորոգապէս ի մարդկութիւնս, յամենայն երկիր նորոգելով զմարդն Աստուծոյ։

VI.

And this is the order of our faith and the foundation of the edification and consolidation of our proceeding:

God, the Father, increate, immaterial, invisible—one God, Creator of all. This is the first point of our faith.

The second point is the Word of God, the Son of God, Christ Jesus our Lord, who appeared to the prophets as per their prophecy and according to the oikonomia of the Father, by whom all things came to be, and who in these last times became a man among men, visible and tangible, to encapsulate all things—abolishing death and showing life (2 Timothy 1:10)—and to bring communion between God and human society.

And the third point is the Holy Spirit, by which the Prophets prophesied and the fathers learned of the divine things, and the righteous led in the way of righteousness, and also in these last times poured forth newly upon mankind, renewing man to God all through the world.
